2026 Victorian Seniors Festival Get Your Shed Involved!
The 2026 Victorian Seniors Festival is coming and it is a great opportunity for men’s sheds across Victoria to get involved, showcase their work and connect with their local communities.
This year’s theme is Connect, Create, Celebrate, which could not be more fitting for the men’s shed movement!
List your shed event for free
Submissions for the online event calendar are now open. If your shed is planning an open day, demonstration, exhibition or any other activity during the festival period, you can list it for free at seniorsonline.vic.gov.au/victorian-seniors-festival-event-submission. The calendar closes for submissions on Sunday 16 August at midnight, so get in early.

Free travel for Seniors Card holders
Seniors Card holders can enjoy nine days of free public transport across Victoria from 3 to 11 October 2026, including all metropolitan services, V/Line train and coach services and selected regional bus services. This is a great opportunity to encourage members and visitors to travel to your shed events during the festival period.
