Jim Kane

Jim Kane is the new Regional Coordinator at VMSA. He feels very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to assist sheds with accessing and making use of local health information and services.

For the past 20 years, Jim has led community-based health projects, mainly in Melbourne’s inner north and west, addressing areas such as mental health, social connection, chronic disease, and assisting with Victoria’s Covid-19 response.

He admits to having two left hands when it comes to woodwork (playing music in a band is his main hobby), but he’s looking forward to learning more about the types of things that go on under all those shed roofs. He hopes to see you on his travels.
