Free Legal Training Sessions Available for Men’s Sheds

Justice Connect are offering a series of free online training sessions designed specifically for Men’s Sheds, covering some of the most important legal and governance topics shed committees and coordinators face.
The sessions are open to all Victorian Men’s Sheds and are suitable for committee members, coordinators and anyone involved in the day-to-day running of their shed.

Governing a Not-for-Profit Organisation — 29 October
This session covers the essentials of running a not-for-profit organisation the right way, including the responsibilities of committee members and what good governance looks like in practice.

Keeping shedders safe is one of the most important responsibilities of any shed committee. This session covers volunteer safety obligations, risk management and insurance considerations.
