VMSA Board Nominations Are Now Open

Nominations for VMSA Incorporated Board Members at the Statewide Forum & AGM, to be held on 21 October 2026 at The Meadows Conference and Events Centre, Broadmeadows, are now open.

In accordance with the VMSA Constitution, three board members must retire from office at each annual general meeting. A board member retiring from office is eligible for re-election, subject to a maximum term of six consecutive years.

Nominations of candidates for election as board members must be received by Saturday 5 September.

The nominations must be:
– accompanied by a short biographical statement and the consent of the candidate.
– endorsed by two members.
– given to the association by notice.

A reminder that the nominee must be from a Shed that is a financial member of VMSA.

The board members may review the nominees in accordance with a board composition policy and may endorse candidates for election by the members.
