DVMS Joins Bendigo Bank in Bush Fire Appeal

At the January 2026 Farmer’s Market, the Dingley Village Men’s Shed (DVMS) teamed up with the local Bendigo Community Bank to raise funds for the recent Bushfire Appeal.

DVMS members provided live entertainment for market-goers, placing an open guitar case and laminated sign out the front to encourage donations. The initiative was warmly received, with generous contributions helping raise $300 on the day.

In an added show of support, the Bendigo Community Bank committed to matching donations dollar-for-dollar, bringing the total raised to $600 for the appeal.

DVMS extends a sincere thank you to everyone who donated, the market attendees, DVMS members involved, and the local Bendigo Community Bank for their generosity and community spirit.

This is another great example of local volunteers working alongside a community organisation to support those in need. Well done to all involved.
